Day 1 (Cairo): Arrival will be at Cairo airport. Meet & assist by our
representative through the formalities and customs. The day will be a full day tour to visit Sakkara, 28 Km southern to Giza, where you will see the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the first pyramid has been built in Egypt, then to Memphis, the first capital of Egypt where you will see the huge statue of King Ramses II lying on the ground losing his arm. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Continue to Giza to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops which was built by manual labor. It is the largest of the three main Pyramids and it is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World, the Pyramid of Chephren, which is the best preserved, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus. Nearby see the Sphinx, a marvelous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop, the lion’s body stretching 45 m, with its paws 15 m long. Learn how paper was made in the ancient times with a visit to the Papyrus Institute followed by a short visit to a Perfumery workshop. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 2 (Cairo-Alexandria-Cairo): Breakfast will be at the hotel. Drive for 3
hours to Alexandria city, known as the pearl of the Mediterranean sea. We begin our tour by visiting the Catacombs, which consist of three tiers hewn out the rock at a depth of 100 feet. A brief visit of Pompey’s Pillar, a huge granite pillar dating back to 297 A.D. Lunch will be during the tour at a local restaurant. Continue to visit the famous Mosque in Alexandria Al Morsi Abu Al Abbas and passing by Quit Bay Forte. This afternoon you have an overlooking of the most exquisite beach on the eastern tip of Alexandria, surrounded by an extremely large garden, unique in its harmonious combinations of flowers with wood. This is EL Montazah Park, the summer residence of ex-royal family. Drive back to Cairo. Dinner and Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 3 (Cairo-Sleeping Train): Breakfast will be at the hotel. The day will be
a full day tour to the world famous Egyptian Museum with its 100,000 objects covering 4,000 years of ancient Egyptian civilization including the treasures of Tutankhamen. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Then we will visit the Citadel including the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammad Ali. Continue to Old Cairo to visit Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue and have a look at Amr Ibn El A’as Mosque, the first mosque has been built in Egypt. Continue to Khan El Khalili Bazaar which dates back to the fourteenth century. Transfer to Giza Station for departure to Aswan by the Sleeping train. Dinner and overnight will be on the train board
Day 4 (Aswan-Nile cruise): Breakfast will be on the train board. Upon
arrival, meet & assist and transfer to Nile cruise. Embarkation. Lunch will be on the cruise board. At leisure till afternoon then will sail the traditional Nile Felucca along the shores of Elephantine Island and Agha Khan Mausoleum (subject to weather conditions). Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the cruise board.
Optional tour : Excursion to Abu Simbel Temple either by private coach or by domestic flight.
Day 5 (Aswan-Kom Ombo-Edfu): Breakfast will be on the cruise board.
Today we will visit the High Dam which was built in 1960. It contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops .The Dam is 11,811 feet long, 3215 feet thick at the base and 363 feet tall. Today it provides irrigation and electricity for the whole of Egypt. Proceed to the Unfinished Obelisk, much of the red granite used for the ancient temples and colossi came from quarries in the Aswan area. Around these quarries are many inscriptions, many of which describing successful quarrying projects. The Unfinished Obelisk located in the Northern Quarry still lies where a crack was discovered as it was being hewn from the rock. It could have weight over 2.3 million pound and would have been the world largest piece of stone ever handled, but a crack occurred, which caused it to be abandoned. Then we will visit the beautiful Temple of Philae, rising from the water of the Nile. Lunch will be on the cruise board while we sail to Kom Ombo. In Kom Ombo we’ll visit Kom Ombo Temple (the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeries), located in the town of Kom Ombo, about 28 miles north of Aswan. The temple dates back to Ptolemy’s, built on a high dune overlooking the Nile. The actual temple was started by Ptolemy Vl Philometor in the early second century BC. Ptolemy Xlll built the outer and inner hypostyle halls. The outer enclosure wall and part of the court were built by Augustus sometime after 30 BC. There are also tombs from the Old Kingdom in the vicinity of Kom Ombo village. Return back to the cruise. Relax on the deck and watch primitive Village on the banks of the river glide. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. While sailing to Edfu, we will enjoy a sumptuous oriental dinner and dance all night away to the Egyptian Galabeya Party. Overnight will be on the cruise board.
Day 6 (Edfu-Luxor): Breakfast will be on the cruise board. This morning, we
visit Edfu’s beautiful preserved Edfu Temple. Edfu Temple, also known as the Temple of Horus, the Falcon God, built in (237 BC), during the reigns of six Ptolemy’s. It is considered the best-preserved temple in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after Karnak Temple. Lunch will be on the cruise board. Sailing to Luxor through Esna lock. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the cruise board.
Day 7 (Luxor-Cairo): After breakfast, we cross to the west bank of the Nile
today past the Colossi of Memnon and visit Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, before going the Valley of the Kings. Lunch will be at local restaurant. Afternoon we tour the awe inspiring Temple of Luxor and Karnak. Transfer to Luxor airport for departure to Cairo. Upon arrival Cairo airport, meet & assist and transfer to the hotel. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 8 (Cairo-Your destination): Breakfast will be at the hotel. Transfer to Cairo airport for the departure to your destination.
